Contentsquare acquires Hotjar to boost SMB offering

Contentsquare has just announced its acquisition of Hotjar, the leading product experience insights provider for small and medium sized companies.  The new combined entity boasts 1 million live websites and 33,000 customers across the globe. This is Contentsquare’s sixth acquisition in two years, following the acquisitions of Upstride, Dareboost, AdaptMyWeb, Pricing Assistant and Clicktale.

"At Hotjar our dream is to enable long-lasting business success by putting people first. It's the thread that ties together who we are as a company and what we offer as a business. The more we spent time with Contentsquare, the more we realized just how much in common we have." - David Darmanin - Founder, Hotjar
